Cool finds in 2017

Helped my brother enlaw drag this 47 Dodge panel out of a tree row where it had sat for 50 years to become lawn art at his Mopar farm. Kamraths was a well know TV and appliance business her in Beaver Dam Wi. That's Perry from New Zealand and John from Appleton who came to see our collection of cars in Perrys 73 Imp!

that's an N94/6 lid for N94 only base... ULTRA RARE....same as hemi lid except the wide lip.. i have seen that wide lipped lid w an N94 hemi base in a pic somewhere.. the wide lip is like the 69 lift off hood cars.. spacing on that air cleaner lid pictured is hemi or single 4bbl N96.. [too close for 440-6] the wide lip is the difference ..even shakers used the small lip..at least the ones i have seen.. challenger t/a is similar wide lip but again wider bolt pattern.. i should have been more specific..

neat jackets!.. but not VINTAGE ones.. if you look at dick landy and the boys wearin' SCAT PACK jackets they all had the stripe on the left side.. and there was no sox martin plymouth jackets.. [at least none can be verified i have heard of]..look at pics of sox/martin back in the day patch was PLYMOUTH....you just bought the S/M patch and put it on your jacket.. your patch doesn't match the jackets condition..patch is likely real [though possibly some repros were made i guess]..and worth what you paid for the jacket..enjoy them!

From the Sox and Martin book.....

exactly!.. you can see the differences in yours vs the vintage one.. no sox /martin patch and the heart is smaller on the vintage one [look at the lines] yours covers the lines.. also vintage has a button on the pocket..though image only shows top..

I haven't been able to find anything Mopar in 2017.

I did find out that my health was in a serious state of trouble and fortunately I have the best team of doctors to get me headed down the right path of recovery. I also had 2 brothers and a cousin die this year. Two more cousins injured in a motorcycle crash and another cousin fall off a ladder and broke his back.

I can't wait for 2017 to end!!!!

I am looking forward to 2018.....

I have way too many hobbies and interests. I like to frequent antique stores and malls looking for "stuff." Post cards can sometimes turn up a good photo or provide historic information. I run across dealer/promotional postcards like this 1970 Sport Fury.

Got a bunch of goodies this year. Best thing this year by far was the first time Carlisle experience! What a blast! Can’t wait to do it again.

Picked up a set of road wheels for the Newport, thanks to Jeff!

That is one cool find. Gonna keep/preserve the old paint job. I guess that's the style nowadays. Anyways you do it up that is pretty rare and cool.
