With the number of issues that Hurst had, I have to admit I am quite surprised it would go for that much money. Just a few years ago, I would have never expected Hursts to achieve such status. Now I regret selling my first one, but at least I have one left.

A lot of high end cars of all makes and models not selling during the first 3 hours.

68 HEMI R/T 4 speed, 410 super Trac Pac high bid $75k - No sale.

Dick Landy 65 Hemi A/FX high bid $500k - No sale.

Just saw another one with 300k+ in receipts not meeting reserve at 100k. 2nd time today.

An the Auctioneer wondered why a 1 owner 16k miles Pontiac Trans AM wasn't hitting 50k.

Ummmm... buy a clue it's a 1976!

I can' believe the number of cars that are 50-60 years old that have less than 10,000 original miles on them. Just seems like a lot.

I don know I've only seen/heard of 1/2 dozen, an most were from museum large private collection.
Maybe I need to pay attention more.
2dr posts are up!
