Bob I am very happy for you and I trust everything worked out the way we were hoping. You will need a 10 year old to show you all the tech in that animal lol. If you are getting a matching topper make sure it is a gel coat to match and not just a respray. It will last longer. As far as break-in goes give her 300 miles before you tow anything then drive the hell outta her! I had to fight with them in the beginning and I even did better than $500 over EP.. the sales manager brought the dealer invoice out to me and gave me the truck at cost. He'll probably make up for it when he sells my Titan.

Thanks! I wasn't parked in front of my house for more than 2 minutes and 2 of my neighbors came over and looked at my RAM. They were looking around and I asked them what are you looking For? They asked where was the Titan parked. I told them that I traded it in on the RAM and both of them started clapping. Lol.

I'm pretty set now. 3 Chryslers and a RAM.

I guess I can finally say Mopar or No car!

I'll start shopping for one just like it in about 15-20 years when the prices are down to something I can stomach... By then, hopefully, I won't care about how much I can fit in the bed.

Good colour choice. You need to get a replacement front plate. That one looks a little wavy. Glad we don't have to put one on the front.

That bent up plate was the result from hitting a 200 lb deer at 70 mph on the Indiana Toll Road.

Even the radio doesn't work on the beater P/U I keep around... but at least the battery hasn't gone dead once in all the neglect I provide her.

I would love a pretty one, but it would be a shame how I'd work her... I'm still plotting the murder of that stupid live oak in my backyard... The P/U will get a workout during that job that a nice truck just shouldn't have to endure.

I hear you. I don't really haul much or tow much. I always wanted a Dodge truck. I did buy a new 1977 Dodge pickup when I was a young Soldier. It was an Alpine White stripper with a slant 6 and 3 on the tree. It didn't even have carpeting. Lol.

That had to be exciting... not something on my "bucket list" though.

On my PA trips I get the occasional reminder of how big a problem driving in deer territory can be. I have seldom seen any in FL, and then they are more like a medium sized dog.

I almost hit another HUGE deer on the Penn Turnpike in the mountains where the jersey walls were extremly tall and the deer somehow slid down the mountain and was walking in circles on the turnpike trying to figure out how to get out of dodge. I was able to slow down to 45 and got around him without hitting him.

Does this 5.7 Hemi require higher octane gas or is 87 pump gas sufficient? The compression ratio is 10.5.

87 octane is fine E85 compliant as well

Sounds like the start of a winning hand. Now all you need is another Ram and you will have a full house. Very nice truck.
