Wow that is a cool place!!
The barn looks tall enough for a hoist too!!

Real estate is hot around here right now.
Our friends are trying to by a house, and lost 3 houses they put full price offers on, People are actually paying more than asking price.

Sure hope it works out for you guys!!

PS The real estate agent thing is awesome!!

Thats what I’m afraid of... this place already “sold” once a few weeks ago. But due to financing reasons, it came back on the market. I’m trying to jump on it now.

Its hard to get something nice here, as they sell so quick.

Hell yes... Looks like a great place...

Will you still be close enough to the park to be legally required to display a rebel flag?

Ofcoarse! Its still middleburg lol

Zach,
That is one sweet looking house man! Pole barn on top of that, whew. The listing should say the size of the barn. I sure hope that it works out for you.
John

No mention of size in the listing I’ve viewed. Only says “New detached garage”. It should do me great though.

I'm going to say 24x36. The truss spacing is most likely 4', and I count 9 to the back. Spacing on the back looks to be the same, so 6x4' is 24 across. Still a good size.

Wish you guys the best of luck Zach, the place looks awesome including the new Barn / ” CBody command center “ lol.. if you run out of room in the barn, looks like there’s plenty room in the living room for a couple of Um.. lol

That does look like a great place. Two versions of that are something I'd really like to own, one in MI and one in AZ. (I'll pass on hurricanes, sorry)

How were you able to explain to the realtor what you wanted? In other words, did you say "must have .5 acres, pole barn, no close neighbors, etc?" I know there are some realtors in AZ who claim to specialize in "car guy" homes, but I suspect it's a gimmick like "hablamos Español".

Late to the party but I'm pullin' for you Zack. When it'z ah done deal send our friend in Clinton some pix. You might even get him to drop down for ah visit, lol. G.L. Pal, Jer ... BTW, I found some 8" LED litz for 'bout $18 ah piece(about 1/3rd the cost of 2'X4' fluorescent) That will make the inside of your new pole barn seem like the roof iz one big sky lite, lol

I hear ya on the hurricanes, but I can’t complain about em. This last one was probably the “worst” storm wise for us, but it wasn’t terrible. The one I didn’t like happened the first year I moved down here, 6/7 years ago. We had a tropical storm for forever. It literally rained non stop for 30 some days. That got old!! But aside from being wet, there was no damage.

Where we are renting now, and this new place are On high ground, and outside of the evacuation zones.

We’ve been doing all the work ourselves so far, no realtor on our end. Zillow, and trillia have been great tools to use online. We search what’s available, and if it looked promising, we would go do a drive by. Almost all of em were crap right then and there though. These real estate people are worse then stans buddy lash down south. The photoshopping on em is unbelievable.

We went by one the other night that looked do able online. We caught the home realtor showing it to a family, as they were leaving. We caught her, and were able to view it right afterwards. What a dump. Its located right next to black creek, and got flooded out this last storm. Can tell a company came in, and did a quick lipstick on a pig deal, and it looked awe full. Garage was a pile of scrap wood...

This current one is the best we’ve seen in the last year of peeking online. Have to try and jump on it.

Thanks Jer! I was at our buddies shop right before christmas. My buddy jake has his warlock over at his place. Jimmys letting him keep the truck at the shop, and helping work on it. We got the body off the frame, while I was there. Jake is currently de rusting the frame.

I hear ya on the photoshopping. I subscribe to some AZ listings (see attached). You know the place is a disaster when the useless dinner plate photo gets billing over the color-enhanced radioactive green exterior photos.

However I'm worried your offer gets sidelined because there is no agent aggressively presenting it.

I agree with Carmine... finding an agent that you like to serve as a buyers agent can help a bunch... many properties wont let you view them without an agent, but dont care if its one you brought with you. They also may find stuff that you don't through MLS listings. My agent was a big help when I was shopping.

This was one of the best photos we came across. It is so saturated, it looks fake!

I do believe we now have an agent. The women we met to view the house has been very persistent. Ive been hearing from here twice a day, with updates. Although, nothing has changed on our end. Still waiting. Did send in some more papers today.

She has been very nice, and is reaching out to the listing agent, to see if any offers have been made yet. She will let us know once she finds out. Shes working pretty diligently to get us into the house, so we should be covered on that end. Believe the only hurtle we’re gonna have is being out bid by somebody else.
