Do any of you guys who were around - remember seeing any street machine, hot rod, gasser, dragsters, prostreet, whatever you want to call it C-Bodies? Of course it’s a luxury/family platform but that doesn’t mean people don’t do it.

We all know the jacked 73’ Fury from Thunderbolt and Lightfoot but I’m curious what else is out there - or what a common thing was in the mid to late 70s and 80s.
Any pictures? I’m guessing mostly Fury’s, 300s, and Monaco’s. Also early slabsides are the most likely?

I’m sure there had to have been at least some youthful kids in the 70s wrenching down on mom and dads big block Chrysler - trying to crank some more power of it and sneaking out doing burnouts in the night.

Back in the day, the were a fairly large number of '66 Fury hot rods. Also used to see '63-'64 Chryslers, Usually 300's.

The background on that photo is that they put on a nonworking blower atop of the engine and the smoke is from machines.
I'm gonna keep The NYB and put on a real Jimmy blower and go out and challenge Bob. Get well soon, buddy.

C'mon, let's see some photos of the Whale.......... :poke:

The Flyin' Whale will get back on the street soon. Funding for new wheels and tires are holding things up. An update will come soon. If someone would buy my 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue that would speed things up a bit. (see non-C Body For Sale ads)
