And it needs no repairs?
It needed quite much repairing before i got it roadworthy, but it's all good now.
Still have some problem with the carburetor and i dont want to deal with that. That's why i got Fitech efi system.
Mallory distributor for getting rid of old and tired distributor and point system.

Welcome; nice Lincoln (in the garage). We had one of these around the house that my dad worked on back in the day. It was green/green with a 383 and front disc brakes.

Thank you. Lincoln is 69 continental with suicide doors.
Sadly this one has drum brakes right now, but disc brakes are on the todo list.

Had to remove transmission becouse shifter seal was leaking so badly.. I also ordered B&M shiftkit and complete overhaul kit for it.

Found these 3/16" diameter metal rods inside of bellhousing... no idea what they are.

I also installed mallory distributor and started the fitech installation.. Had to order 1/2" carb spacer so it wont hit on intake manifold.

Those rods (pins) look suspiciously like the alignment pins that align the bellhousing to the engine.

Yeah so i accidentally bought 1968 plymouth sport fury convertible, but more on that when it arrives.

More goods for this car:
20180831_175536.jpg

Full set of RCD Bilstein Shock Absorbers and Firm feel Urethane Bushing Kit
w/ Greasable LCA Pins.

New fuel lines for fitechi installation.. They are stainless steel braided teflon hose. Little overkill, but oh well. :D

Line lock for back wheels so i can do good burnouts.

Fitech is installed.. firts crank and it fired right up, but I saw spikes at the rpm signal..
had to add like 140k ohm resistance to rpm wire and the spikes went away and it works really well now.

Transmission has small problems.. gear indicator is little off and kickdown is not working after the rebuild..

I was going to ls swap the suburban this winter, but looks like im going to restore this instead..

Man. I’m so glad you saved this thing and were able to fire it up. Was there enough of the wiring on the drivers floor to start with the key or no? What did you think of its condition once it arrived? I hope it was as good as it looked. One more question he did ship you the dash with the vin tag - I hope. I told that dude it was important. Anyways congrats and enjoy that steal of a deal !!! Awesome !!!

Condition was pretty much what i expected..

Now ill have to get the brakes working so i can move it..

I would send that POS unlite back to who you bought it from. Get anything but a unilite.
Well i havent had any problems with it yet, but thanks for the heads up.
