yes, he is right.....................

Good one Stan... You know, I have to believe Dan will never see this post. He doesnt usually read anything that doesnt have his name or one of his cars in the title

The first one is a parts car.........crush the 2nd one.

Excellent point!!
He knows the car is so worthless it's not even derby material.
Even he has no love for it.

Of course he doesnt, which is why they are up for sale. He once thought he found an amazing million dollar car. Over the years he has realized its worth nothing

Is he asking that much because he over paid? I sent him a PM about the car and told him I would be interested, but wouldn't pay 15K and he never even responded. I would LOVE to own the thing, but its worth maybe a third at best of his asking price in my opinion.

No, I dont think he over paid. I believe its a matter of Dan thought he found a niche and tried to corner the market. Once he realized no one cared he tried to dump them at ridiculous prices to spur hype, which he has in a twisted way.

He's right in one respect when he says "find another", you cant and wont. However I can say the same thing about my 71 polara and guess what, no one cares.

Excellent point Dave, well said.

Well, at one time I had a 1970 Charger 500 slant six, three on the tree. One of nine built. It was factory red with a white bucket seat w/buddy seat and no vinyl top car. I was told by many people that it would for sure be a one of one in that configuration. The thing is, no one cares!!! Was it worth anything? Nope, was worth more as parts for those 70 Charger R/T's.

I would love to have that black S/23 car, but he would have to come down a LOOOOONG ways, or throw in A LOT of NOS parts and a whole other car for me to even think about it being worth even close to the asking price.

I bet I have over the years seen dozens of people use $5,000.00 as a top value at best.
I think Dan would jump at $5K now but knows he can't because he'll become the laughing stock of The Mopar Community. He'd rather eat the car at this point rather than hear to his dying day "we told you so".
He made his bed and the whole saga is sad because whether he sells or not, he'll always be infamous in not such a good way.
I said $5K years ago. Now he's in a too embarassing position to sell it even for its actual WIW.
Anybody remember his original price? $75k sticks in my mind.

If he started at 75K and has come down to 15K how much more embarrassed could he be if he sold it for 5K? Now would be a good time for him to start practicing laughing with everyone who is might be laughing at him.

I'm sure he'll say he had dozens of offers that were double the $5k offer and he turned them all down.
