well i'm going to build clutch peddles and hanger brackers , as well as floor humps and of course that special z bar and frame mounting bracket . using 66 parts supplied . i'm just thinking of how many to build . these parts are to be made here in the united states of america . keeping the work force here working . and steel from here as well . going to make it as strong if not stronger that oem parts . so i'm looking for members that would like some of this stuff to convert or replace the setup they have . please feel free to climb on in on the discussion . and let me know of your wants . thanks pm

this is great guys . do you think you setups should be stock or heavery duty . what clutch set up and how much motor is going to be in the machine . thanks aidan , x'mas was grand , new years was a new year , lol . and aidan whats up on my 72 . still in the want ? and yes , thanks barnfind . the parts are being broke down to their parts of assembly now . i can't wait my self . of course i'm going to run these parts in my 65 880 . and there is two more c bodies in my stable or hoard , lol . does any one else see any more parts i should build as well in the pics , thinking about the steering column collar , but it would be 65-69 , the 70-78 maybe .

thats in my thoughts as well . the standard brakes are clutch peddles are on a common shoulder bolt . i need to get a p/b set up apart to measure up the parts . but in all , there would be another brake peddle arm to be made as well . and there is this thought . as you down shift engine rpm climbs up the scale and being on the booster brakes at the same time will make a boosted booster durning those gear down shifts changes . not sure about how that would feel when you are on the brakes . this is a different subject , but heres some pics of my buds butches flat head motors @Aidan1976 saw on his san jose visit . the blown one is a 49 merc

for his all steel 32 b'roadster , and the other is a 46 truck block ford , oh ya the blown injected 354 hemi's is next on the list of builds . there for sale like everything else .

I was going to use a B body hump for my 68 but if you are making them I'd be in for one. Don't even know how much difference there is in them, or if there is any difference. My car was a column shift 3spd and they hacked the floor apart to put a floor shift in at some point.
A question. My 68 fury is a slant 6 car. Did they use the same Z bar in 6 and 8 cylinder cars? Or do you know? I figured I could modify mine if needed.

Also, I like your picture. I'm just about done with my 41 dodge 1/2 ton weapons carrier after almost 12 years of off and on work.

I'll be running a mostly stock big block and an overdrive 4spd from the pickups. Shouldn't need anything heavy duty for me anyways.

I myself am very interested in the under dash pedal parts. Mine is a 71 Fury and is currently an automatic, 69-72 clutch pedals are very rare and I have found a few others looking for them. My project plans would need to replace the auto brake pedal as well.

My project is a big block that I would like to put a T56 Magnum 6 speed in it but I would have to fab up the mount and tunnel. I would be using a hydraulic clutch and would not need much else as I would have to modify the firewall anyways. I did buy pedals for a 68 C Body with manual brakes and was trying to adapt them but have not yet. They are completely different.

These are all AMHIK:

You CANNOT use a B-body hump. Huge difference!
Different Z-bar in V8s according to P/N's.
You can modify your /6 Z-bar both in length and the correct indexing of the arms.

Don't do it. I did it. But if you absolutely insist, use the Dodge Dakota setup. The aftermarket has perfected Muncie hydraulic clutch conversions but their Mopar stuff does not work as advertised. I wouldn't....

WHICH T-56?
Most of the used ones out there will self destruct behind a BB
And a new one is 35-hundred bucks BEFORE adding in the bellhousing, drive shaft mods, etc, etc, etc...

yes gents , its all different then a's b's n e's . the hump is at the being spec'd out so we can stamp them found heavy steel sheet like chrysler did . and on a side note ; has anyone tried putting a g/v od on a a833 ? same spline on the output shaft as a 727 , at least the long version has .it would take a new tailshock just like the 727 .

Yes a new T56 Magnum in the wide ratio. Yes I know it is $3500 ish and about 7k with bell housing, clutch, driveshaft, hydraulic cylinders and other parts. Plus my wagon is 4800 lb and would be getting a Dana 60 as well.

hemi a833 2k ? gear vendors o/d 3k ? just rb or hemi clutch stuff 1k ? drive line 300 ? 6300 ? and nearly bullet proof ? lol , of course it is .

Still not rated for 650lb torque behind a 512 stroker or have a .50 overdrive!

don't think the torque would be a issue , but .50 od would be . the hemi gear box has proven itself on the long haul of bonnyville salt flats behind 1000 to 1200 hp blown chrysler weighting in at 10k lbs streamliner . i think a 5k wagon should be okay . but why do you want that much o/d . dana 60 can be out fitted with 3.54's . and what tire , some were around 27' tall where is your cams sweet spot ? are you putting sonic ram intakes on your 512 ?

Mine will be a near stock set up, close to original works. How soon are you looking to start this venture?

I built my wagon for fun on the street and it has been. Just looking to improve on the fun factor. The 512 is mildly cammed but not finished yet and should be right in the torque at 2500. It is not being built to rev much past 5500k. The current 727 with the 8 3/4 with 3.55 sure grip is fun on the street with the 315/35zr17 I'm running but at 65mph it is tacking at about 3k. Tires are 25in tall. I have 2.76 center section and another 3.23 sure grip. Those are better on the freeway but when I go Dana 60 the tallest is 3.54 like you stated. I have beaten up my 8 3/4 and it has taken lots of abuse but I have destroyed two axles and have Mosier in it now. the TCI 6X trans was recommended but I would like the manual and the 6 speed with the extra od just appeals to me. I could just as easily go 5 speed and all the work is the same. Here in AZ the freeways have a 75MPH speed limit and that should put me at 2k rpm in 6th. I really need to add a second fuel tank thou. This 512 will eat 15% more fuel than my 440 did that got 9 mpg. But if the RPM drop is that much I should get 12-14 on the freeway hopefully. Our 71 Chevelle used to get 13MPG but after the 4L60 swap and Fast EZ efi it jumped to 17MPG.

yes , i have my metal smith working up the dyes for stamping them as the factory would have , for that c body hump . he's great at those types of metal stampings . yes @commando there to be as close as i can get them to be as oem . in fact i'm using my own 66 setup to do this . most of the parts must be cut apart to get here configuration for manufacturing them . i'm going out on t the limb on this . building some where of a hundred setups and be able to stamp n build more . we will have the fixtures to build , and the parts break down .
