So, I had a mint Belvedere, slant 6, 3 on the tree, 4 dr. sedan, pretty basic but was mint, mint and mint. all original even the spare tire. Like most of us, it's the one car I wish I never sold. It is what it is but now I'd like to find another Belvedere or fury. I missed out on the 61 Belvedere that just sold at Mecum's for under $8k which is my price point. Always still looking for the mid 60's Fury's too but they seem to be out of my budget. Thanks.

I had the same problem with my '64 Belvedere. It was like new but sold it.....:BangHead: now I couldn't afford the lug nuts on a nice one:rolleyes:

I feel your pain. In the 70's I had a 68 Barracuda Formula S Convertible, 383 4 speed, sure grip, all factory. Had some rust and top was shot, you could barley give those away back then. Ended up parting it out.

Well, to make matters worse was that mine came from a collection with 12K miles on it but no title. This was 93 with no internet so it took me about a year to finally track down and get the title from the late owner's estate. Had it not been for the divorce I'd probably still have it. But then again, since then I owned and later sold my 62 Lincoln convertible. Another regret. arrgghhhh.
