Beautiful 70 Road Runner

The open hood ruined it for me... well maybe, If I had a V12 flathead, I could see myself wanting to run a paper filter element vs the stock oil bath air cleaner. Would I consider running an alternator and 12v??? Yeah, I guess I probably would.

But if that thing has a SBC, and I'm guessing it does, somebody has done that sweetheart an injustice. At least it should have been hotrodded with a Ford powertrain, IMO.

Yep it’s a shame they did that to such a rare car.

This car caught my eye early. Could barely wait to finally get to it. I can see myself in this car. 57 Mercury Montclair convertible.

When I first saw this car it didn’t appeal to me. It just didn’t stand out compared to all the other. However when I made my way to it & looked at it I was quite impressed. This car was nicely done. The only 60 restored Caddy 4 door hard top I’ve seen. This car really was nice. Glad I took pics of it.

I’ve always been a fan of the bullet bird Thunderbirds. They don’t bring big money & that makes them a good classic car for many to get into. This car was a well done example restored to original like condition. A white convertible top on an off white body. Kinda had a lite blue/grey color. Only brought $13 K & sold.

You ever heard someone say nobody will ever restore one of those. Yea I have. Especially when the subject is Japanese imports. Not too many that I’ve seen. This Honda looked like it just rolled off the assembly line. I looked this car over well & was amazed. It had to be a well taken care of car. Even the trim looked new. $10500 took it home to a new owner

Do you like Butterscotch Mustangs. Judging by the wheels this one might of had some bolt on goodies. When I took this pic it hadn’t been across the stage yet. A friend of mine in high school had one of these. Red on red. Mach 1 with black striped. 351C. It ran ok & he like most teens was hard on it.

It had a Deal Doctor sticker on it for $35,500. That means a deal was worked out after it rolled across the stage. Don’t see a lot of these T birds & never seen one in this color.

How about a Crosley. Only one I’ve ever seen. Looked new. Interesting story. About 10 or so years ago one of these or perhaps a Bantam was listed on Craigslist for sale. Terrible pictures from a then a then state of the art camera phone. It was park inside a old damaged shop. Asking price I believe was $600 no title I don’t think. So I called the guy & he said he would take $400 but that it would be difficult to get because the roof on the building was collapsing in on it & some trees had grown up just outside the door. I got him to send me some better pics & yep I’m not sure the car would have been worth the trouble. Today I likely would have accepted the challenged after years of watching American Pickers. That show tends to motivate me to do things I probably shouldn’t do

This Dart looked to have been mini tubbed from a distance. When I made my way to it I was impressed. Nice car that had a 7 inch rim neatly tucked into the wheel openings. With a V8 & 4 speed it brought $20 grand. Pretty good I say.
