Never mind the negative comments, she's a beauty. I saw one like this for sale years ago in NJ. It was my inspiration for painting my NYB in starlight blue.

Good luck with the sale!

@DocMcNeedy Lucky-7 ???

I never say never to more...But, my present fleet is keeping me busy and takes a fair amount of space. lol.

Looks cool but it's not a Mopar. Unless maybe there Cummins powered?

I really like the imperial collection. You drive one a day they at the end of the week vacuum them All. YOU Know it's true!!!!! LMAO

considering retail would be over 10,000.00, i think.6500.00 i think is very fair.The front seats have a little lovely creasing which i think is lovely.The color is excellent.The gargantuan front bumper and my favorite rear Imp. bumper makes this the ocean liner of the highways.Not to rain on some ones dream but i personally would not sell that car.Unless you have other priorities or projects,you will regret selling it.That car makes you forget the world when you drive it.And in the end that,s what cars are about.:steering:B.B

I agree, the situation with me is.... I had my eye on a 69. Not crazy over the interior in the particular 69 I was looking at, it was more money and I had to buy it sight unseen and ship it. This one popped up. I bought it IMMEDIATELY. The interior on this 73 is night & day compared to the 69. It was in better condition and more original. I'm not afraid to keep it by any means. I like it a lot. But I like the 69 more. I have way to many cars and I just can't keep them both. My heart is with the rear bumper of the 69 so I decided to pass this one on. Am I being silly???? Tell me. It seems like more people like the 72 73 imperial than the 69 70 71. I'd hate to make a mistake and let this go. I've been looking, I've found nothing but junk for $6500. And I mean junk. Lots of them. I haven't seen any like this one, but then again I can't find any 69 70 or 71 worth a damn. So I really don't know what to do. If it was a B body I'd know in an instant. This one..... I'm lost......I just know I like the look of the 69

Any stick shift?
Absof***enlootly the viper the 68 R/T, 70 cuda, 69 Roadrunner all manual. Sorry none for sale. But I am selling a 66 polara, a 69 Coronet, a 71 Pontiac formula, and a # numbers 73 455 trans am if you have any interest. I'll also be selling my 67 GTX once I finish the interior.
Thanks

The real issue with a 1969 Imperial is that they are more unreliable due to their early semi - electronic systems and almost experimental gadgets and less than ideal dashboards that are a pain to work on. They have sequential turn signal tail light controls with multiple mechanical attributes to them such as mechanical points and other complexities. Then there is Autotemp 1 which is on nearly all of them, and are very hard to get to work at all. The only real solution is to replace them with manual sytems but getting the right dash pieces aren't so easy to find. By the time the 72s and 73s rolled out of the assembly plant doors, they were more refined with less problems and their Autotemp II systems are not that hard to get fully operational with help from Performance Analysis Company who reproduces remanufactured control servos with much better than original parts. But there is no doubt in my mind that the 1969s were the best looking of all of them. If you like to work on them, then a 1969 is a dream (nightmare) by comparison to a 1973 model. If you just want to enjoy driving them, a 1973 model is the way to go.

Ask me how I know...................

@Mr.Crowley, thank you for posting your car here. The color is great. Assuming you have not yet sold the car, could you please post photos of the tag and of the underside?

@saforwardlook, how would you rate the 1971 Imps in terms of reliability? They already had Autotemp II, if I read you correctly.

@ayilar

Thanks for the heads up, but I´ve got no guts to get another baby yet. BTW, Auto Temp was optional throughout the Fusie era. The single Air Temp (manual) was standard.

@Mr.Crowley

Sell the JB9 73 only if you are sure that you want to pass it on. Regal Blue with blue interior is not a paint scheme to easily get and 40250 miles sound like it is very clean like you stated on the post #1.
For example at first I was on pursuit for a 69-73 2dr, but then found my 73 4dr ht, which is awesome. It´s more that you like the car than the "correct" amount of doors.

Steve, how would you rate the 1971 Imps in terms of reliability? They already had Autotemp II, if I read you correctly.

I feel they are comparable to the 1972 and 1973 models and I think the 1971s actually look a little better than the 72 and 73 Imperials but I also love the 72/73s a lot too. I personally would avoid the 1970 models for most of the same reasons as the 1969s. With all of the 71 C bodies, the dash panels and the interiors in terms of seating and comfort were just superior to the 1969 and 1970 models in general.

In terms of C bodies in general, while I like 1970 Chrysler 300s a lot, for example, I really prefer the 1971 Chrysler 300s more because of their upgrades that make them better automobiles and more quiet, comfortable and refined to drive.
