This is a classic example of how someone probably got screwed buying a car at auction. This car still ran when it was brought to the auction house. If it was not knocking badly, it probably went for $25k-$30k as it is a rare 4 speed car that appears to be reasonably rust free. By the time Nick's Garage does the high performance 440 upgrade, he will have at least another $12k just in the engine, probably more by the time the correct carb and exterior accessories are installed. Exhaust manifolds look to be repops which may or may not have the proper casting numbers, factory air cleaner is missing. The interior needs a lot work as much of it is not correct, missing or weathered. (Console is weathered, headliner sagging, seats appear to be the wrong pattern, red lenses in interior lighting, etc.) Floors need to cleaned up and repainted. Exterior paint is weathered and chipped. This is still a nice example of a '68 coronet RT, but the new owner is going to be seriously upside down for a long time to come.
