That part is obsolete. If you can live with the smaller sight glass and the lack of the hex fitting on the top of the dryer, the 61-70 units could be used.

www.originalair.com can rebuild your old one.

Believe it or not I just may have one new in the box, I'll check.

I don’t really know anything about these but these are available for sale if any of them would work for you. Is there anyway to test the used ones?

I too have no idea which would work. I think I will purchase generic drier, than have my original refilled if an orginal used is not located. Thanks for your time. Bob

Cool that you have those!

While I'm sure you know this, keep in mind that any dryer left uncapped for any length of time other than a few minutes while being installed is rendered effectively non-functional and will require rebuilding/replacement.

Well the good news is is that the two new units are sealed, thanks for the information. I’m sure the used ones were removed from parts cars over the years.

If it doesn't have to be "correct", you can buy a new one anywhere they sell a/c parts. Usually Parker brand.

OE Parker Receiver Drier - 811913900

Best place to put your hands on one immediately is a big truck dealer like Kenworth or Freightliner, usually about $40. Looks like you need the one with 2 Male oring fittings.

Ebay has them for around $10 +/- but the shipping puts them close to $40 and you have to wait.

I'll agree with sealed units being best, with fresh dessicant in them. Certainly the dessicant will absorb moisture, but I would also suspect that any absorbed moisture would be removed when the system is evacuated, held at that vacuum for a while, and then refilled with the desired refrigerant and oil. After the system has been open/uncharged for a good while, I doubt that the dessicant could be revived by the system evac activity.

The idea of a HD OTR truck dealer being a good resource, or an a/c parts place that supplies them, as I suspect that many of those rigs have a/c systems which use somewhat common/universal parts in them, for the "guts of the system".

Kevin;

I like your Parker suggestion to qualify the A/C system holds refrigerant and provides A/C. Gives me time to have original looked at for recharging. Old Air Products is quoting 5 weeks leadtime. Bob
