Saw this beauty today. I doubt I have seen a nicer original car ever. On Ebay:

Item specifics
Condition: Used Year: 1958
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): LP2E48543 Mileage: 10168
Engine: 318 Make: Plymouth
Model:
Fury
Vehicle Title: Clear
Trim: Belvedere

This car is an extreme rare find, and all original except for the new fuel system which was replaced last summer (fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor), and new rear wheel cylinders. The car still has the original factory tires on it and the factory upholstery coverings were never removed. The car is equipped with the 318 poly head V8 and push button automatic transmission. It also has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. This car is a true survivor and a one of a kind with just over 10,000 miles and still has the new car smell!!!

Please call me if you have any other questions at 608-343-3883.

In Wisconsin no less.....................must have been wrapped in plastic since nearly new. I would like to see the underhood though - I still wonder whether it really has a/c.

I really like this one but is Fury Belvedere a thing???

Lovely, but 61 year old tires? Nice to have a good fuel system but tires should have been replaced too.

The confusion lies in that the Fury joined the Belvedere line in 1956, in any case this isn't a Fury as they only came in beige with gold trim this year, its probably a Belvedere, a very nice one though.

That dash brings back memories. I think our 57 made three trips to Florida. Dad was sure us little guys were sitting in the middle so he could see out the rear view mirror. Little brother and I claim he got tired of big brothers mug in the way. :p

Sorry, Steve. As nice as that car is it simply cannot hold a candle to your '60 300 F. Not even close. Your car is the epitome of survivor.

Nor the '57 300!

Another thing that sets this Belvedere apart - The seller made sure to roll up the hose and put it away before taking photos! I'm floored.

I would guess the seller is just trying to gain attention from anyone searching for a Plymouth Fury on Ebay. That is a Belvedere model only, but it has similar side trim to a real 1958 Plymouth Fury:

Beautiful looking car. Love that it still has the Poly. Interesting exterior color. I spy, a Daytona tribute in the background too.

Unfortunately no, It's not a Fury. It would say it on the quarter panels. A Fury/Belvedere would not make sense either. They are two different model lines. To bad this is not a Christine car, it's the correct year for it.

Maybe imported from Canada?

They did some pretty crazy trim packages to make it a Canuck's version...:canada:

Nicest, most original Belvedere I have ever seen. The term "Fury" was likely added to the auction as "click bait." Air-conditioned Furies were few/far-between in 1957, and I think they had "porthole" vents that stick up out of the top of the dashboard. I don't see them in these photos, and without any engine photos, it's hard to verify. Unusual color, and the originality could overcome the "plain Jane sedan," aspect too. Someone from the Forward Look group could verify all that though.

For the non-mopar folks I suppose Fury is used for any full-size Plymouth.
Most wouldn't know a VIP from a Belvedere or Suburban.
