FK5 Dodge resurrection

It's a nightmare. I need one still. I cant believe there isnt one nearby. All the ones I've found are bad.

They get dry and brittle . They look good in a car, try to take it out and handle it and reinstall they go to hell quick. Shipping one, forget it . Even in 10 pounds of bubble wrap and peanuts odds seem slim that it would make the trip.

The piece I am missing is the channel the interior trim mounts to under the rear window. Every single one I've come across is rotten.

Very glad to see you go this route Wyatt! :usflag:
The seat and interior colors from the factory were absolutely glorious...the whole car would have been jaw dropping when new. Keep up the good work, I'm eager for a lot of pictures :D

I think it would look great again one day with orange high back buckets.

Ok, I'm confused. I thought, going by photos in the Brougham thread, you were in need of the actual steel body part of the package tray. I still can't picture what part it is that you require, even given this last description. Could you post a picture?

Ok, the top of the Dutchman's panel too. I would think it would be best to get the entire stamped panel in both instances, however, that obviously hasn't been possible as of yet. I'll do my best!

Pics didn't come out great due to the sun and the Manitoba Maple growing out from under it. Package tray is solid, some rust in the window channel, worst spot is shown on the bottom, close to the passenger corner. Parts would only be around the fifty dollar mark. My time, probably around a few hundred, including a proper crate built for shipping. Those are Canadian dollars. Plus shipping. Car was sold in Athabasca Alberta, at a Chrysler dealership that apparently sold Case tractors as well. Gonna have to look into that.

It was common practice in the 60’s-70’s to give established implament Dealers Chrysler franchises in rural areas. Spirt River is the only one still around I believe in the province.
