You're making good progress, won't be long and you'll be finished.
Not sure if your front bumper is tweaked or out of alignment, but there's only a couple bolts on each framerail to loosen if it's merely misadjusted. It helps to have a friend around when you do, that bugger is heavy!

Yeah good observation. The previous owner got a little too close to a wall (I assume) and it got pushed in a bit, I had not thought about the possibility of a left to right alignment adjustability. Bolts in slots? I have wrenched on the back bumper bolts but never the front. Will have to check that out. Thanks for the tip!

Appears to be Lewis Recycling in Flat Lick KY. Not much left but the shell. Front grille and bumper present. Sorry no better pics but was traveling through and needed to make time.

ImpJay, if I could put this coupe in a box and send it to you, I would. I know you would put it on a shelf and slowly fix it up...’some day’....your Imperial would then have a stablemate.

Saving that Chrysler would be a wonderful task, but I´ve made a plan of expanding the fleet with another 69-73 Imperial. A tiger can´t run away from its stripes...

I can understand that. The Imperials are very unique.

Let it dry for a few days then peeled the tape off the lettering. I’ll have to buff it a bit, hope it gives me a matte black, don’t want flat black and don’t want gloss black either... and then I’ll paint the circle red. Quite a sporty wheel.

First wheel cover cleaned, repainted, reassembled. The argent paint from Year One was expensive but I can tell it is a quality paint.

Took the wheel/fender arch trim off tonight. I was afraid I was going to have use a Dremel tool to remove some screws, before I got started. Much to my relief, they all came off using just a screwdriver. Whew!

Removing headlight covers for painting. First disconnect the square bar ( pops out easy). Next unscrew the three bolts. Then slide off the circle clip and clockspring. On the other end of the cover two washers will fall off, one big one will (probably) still be on a hanger stud and the cover assembly, then slides out with a little jiggling. Three washers total.
