w.t.f ******* fuckfuckinghellfuck shite is this

so i stopped by the transmission guy on the way home and showed him the broken fitting. just like the engine rebuilder did me with exhaust bolts, he says they dont take those fittings out when they r&r a transmission, and the fitting whats there is what was there when i brung it to him.. he carriers me over to the steam booth and opens it up - he had a 727 cooking right then and it still had whatever fittings still in there. sigh.

ill start soaking it with pb blaster and then try to easy out it this weekend i guess.

so it didnt come out yet. i read that brass and aluminum bind really well together. awesome.

on the 727 cooler lines, is either line under pressure? or is it just circulating from fluid temp? converter pressure? or what?

and if i am only in P am i generating any/much heat at the transmission, or could i sit there awhile with no cooler lines hooked up but the case full of TF and lines blocked off?

anyone ever ran the transmission with no lines hooked up? how long do i have before it desplodes?

Yup. Hook the two lines together.
Great for moving car around in shop while waiting for cooler parts. Would strongly advise AGAINST going out on the road or prolonged idle times.

He asked if he could run it with NO lines. He broke off the coupling on the rear of the transmission. I'm thinking he simply wants to plug it.
Which of course means the pump that pumps the fluid through the lines at high pressure would back up, I'm now curious to know how long that could go for?

had to adapt it. old radiator was slammed in pretty caliwhumpus, this is really slammed in there too. i pushed it as far as it would go to driver side, it hits the battery tray.

how far i had to move it. the rad was about 28 1/2" across. the airway square in the front steel is 22" across. the stock mount holes are at 24 1/2" apart.
