Big Block headers question

Look at the list, those headers are compatible with every engine from the 440, to a 318, to a slant 6!
Those sure are versatile lil buggers!

According to their little Does It Fit, nope, they don't. I spent three times as much for ones I knew fit. I don't remember the Hedman number that works for Fusies, but I thought they had a set that fit.

Yeah I'm not sure about them either, just trying to find something cheaper than $600 for uncoated headers

I dont think thats possible under 600...? I got hedmans and they wrap the starter like a snake squeezing its prey hence the bfh

I'm a long way from buying just trying to find some.
Looking at the prices and not being sure if they'll fit it doesn't seem worth it

Spend the money... tti... you know you want them...

I paid through the nose, but I love my headers from tti. Full exhaust also. They have my money for the Dart as well. Expensive, yes, fits, you betcha.

Not worth the 1k to me lol
Maybe not, but I didn't have to beat on them to get them to fit, and my starter is accessible. I paid more for the exhaust than I did for the car! I do recommend their pipe kits, the last one I put on (2 1/2") practically fell in! They sure aren't cheap, but they are nice. I even picked up a used set of headers for my Dart, and I'll be getting the pipes for it too. Good luck with the hunt, and let us know what you find, $300 for headers would be awesome.

Question: what are your plans for your vehicle?
The headers that are KNOWN to work are TTI (different headers for 383 and 440 engines) and Hooker 5113. You can find the Hooker Headers for sell on craigslist/fb market place a bit more often than you do the TTI's. I've yet to see someone who has recent pictures of anything other than these two headers (and the currently out of stock Schumacher tri-y) on a big block cbody without moving a tube or some major modifications. Have you thought about HP manifolds? You can usually find those for under $300

I ran $50 b/e body swap meet specials on my 383 for years. No idea the brand but they are older than c body headers are. I don't think they'd work on a 440. They went in from underneath without too much trouble. Starter was trapped of course
