Ok they had another auction this weekend & I spent most of the day there today. As usual a lot of cool cars went across the block. I’ll post them on this thread over the next few weeks. Or as many as I took pics of. I couldn’t get them all. There was a lot more people there this time. Folks standing everywhere

This 65 Daytona Shelby was a replica. Built for racing. It was a no sale at $45,500 After it had gone across the block I was looking at it. A guy came up to me & ask if I was interested in the car. He said he was representing the seller. He told me the seller was hurting financially & was liquidating some of his cars. He said the seller was an Amazon seller & would buy his products in China to resale & had been shut down due to the Corona Virus.

71 Cuda was from a private collection of which two other cars were avaliable. It was a no sale with a high bid of $81 thousand

The white 69 Coronet IIRC was featurd in MCG..
Old Hemi race car belonged to a Veitnam Vet.
I could be wrong but sure looks familiar.

If the 340 'Cuda had a 4 speed, that would be a fun car. Not sure if its $81,000 fun, but still fun! LOL
With the price of E body specific parts, and especially one year only 71 'Cuda items, the bid is at par to the cost of restoring one to top quality show level. No sale at 81,000...was he expecting 6 figures?? Wishfull thinking, but still a very nice car.

These 3 Chrysler’s belong to Mike McCandles. The younger son of former pro drag racer Herb McCandles. Mike owns a high end resto shop in Burlington, NC & specializes in forward look 300’s & Imperials. As well as some race cars & resto mods. Hot Rods are in their bloid

Definitely not my thing but these old VW Busses bring good money. Beats the heck out of me. This one was a no sale with a high bid of $65 thousand. I’ve seen others sell for more so maybe the market is softening on these.
