Looks like fun. Keep up the good work and keep us posted. I love that car. One of these years I'll get around to doing mine.

The car really runs well...amazing what the difference is. I really like this Lunati cam...nice smooth idle but man it has some get up now. Wooo weee.

Finally found it! That particular Lunati VooDoo is the 256/262 advertised duration cam. 213/220 @.050" duration .454/.475 lift LSA?LCl 112/108 RPM 1000-5000 (Summit), 1000-5500 (Lunati). The ""60301" is Summit's Part Number for the cam. The current Lunati SKU is 10230701 Cam only

For comparison, their "Factory Performance" 440/375 -type cam is 278/288 advertised duration. 218/226 @.050" duration .455/.470 lift LSA/LCl 112/108 RPM 1800-5500 The current Lunati SKU is 10211005 cam only

Glad to find out which cam it is and the specs. What carb? What distributor timing and advance specs? Stock valve springs?

Always nice to have a great looking car that runs better than it used to, but looks "unmolested"!

Thanks,
CBODY67

You are correct on the cam specs/numbers listed. I have it with the original Carter AVS carb and a new Edelbrock Performer 383 manifold. Timing is currently set at 32 all in at 3000. I may raise it up to 34. Car runs excellent...better idle than the stock cam...especially when I run 89 non-ethanol. I mix 93 octane in also.

Good to know about that cam. With God's help, I plan to start building my 400 this year. I think some more "stimulus" is sorely needed for my C body! Yo! Donny!.....

You'd really like this cam in your 400! It should help quite a bit with that low compression the 400 would have. Just dont expect it to have a lopey idle...it will be smooth...at least it is in mine.
