ATTENTION NEW ENGLAND C-BODY ONLY MEMBERS- My car club Mopars In Motion here in Connecticut is hosting a 40th Annual Mopar Expo Show & Swap Meet. I personally would love this to be like Carlisle and see a lot of c-bodies there. This Show Is A Big Deal And Is Planning To Be Huge Since It Is The 40th Anniversary, Even Mopar Collectors Guide Wrote About It! The show used to be held at the Farmington Polo Grounds back in the day, so Mopars In Motion & Papa's Dodge are bringing the show back to its birthplace. This is going to be a 2 day show and swap meet, show dates are May 16th & 17th. Time is 9am-3pm both days. Car entrance fee price is $10.00 on Saturday and $15.00 Sunday. Spectator fee is a $5.00 donation that goes towards the Special Olympics of CT. Swap meet space is $25.00 per day per 8x20 spot. 19 show classes. Officer picked 1st place awards in each class on Saturday. Participant 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards on Sunday. Show is also open to AMC, truck, and non Mopar show vehicles. Show location is the Farmington Polo Grounds 152 Town Farm Road in Farmington, CT. If you need more information including places to stay, visit MoparInMotion.com, or visit Mopars in Motion. Just to show what you will be getting into......

YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS HUGE SHOW!! I messaged some members and so far @cbarge from Canada and @barsteel are definitely coming. @Yeahrightgreer @Turboomni and @BigCah will try to make it, @c-barge will see what he can do, and @68_fury_ragtop may come. Anyone else? Hope to see more members there! :)

This looks truly awesome, I'd love to be there. I've my fingers crossed for you that the world is a big step back to normal by that time and the event does not get canceled

I haven't been to the Polo grounds in years, I remember when the show was half Mopar Half Corvette, talk about the Odd Couple ... this is on my bucket list.

Do some more photo digging. You should find photos of my 2 '68 Sport Furys and my '74 Dodge van at the last Polo Grounds show as well as some photos of your step dad's cars.

I have tons of old photo's, I should go through them at some point.

Much better! Good job finding and posting those photos. My 2 '68's before I put Magnum 500's on the green Sport Fury and when the yellow one was still a 318 car with 14" wheels before it got the 520", 15" wheels etc. I hope the current owner of my former van (a survivor) is taking good care of it.

i purchased the shifter that's in my '69 at the polo grounds circa 1986. current thinking is the virus isn't going to peter out until July. sure would love to see that event again....

Great to hear that you are coming as long as the show is on. Look forward to meeting you.

Regarding the contact and meeting, I think it is a great idea. However could you please provide alittle bit more information, do you mean on the showfield or otherwise? If you mean the showfield, the c-body class will not be nearly as big as Carlisle with 25-30 cars. More like 8, maybe 10 at most so it should be relatively easy to find each other

Thank you for clarifying the size of the show, I’ve been to Carlisle five years in a row now and there’s been 35 to 40+ members meet at a central spot. Since most of us don’t know each other by name or faces, only buy website names. Thought trading number or assigning a “Meet” spot would help.. plus how likely is it that all the CBodies will Be parked next to one another? If we are then easy peezy.. Either way! My name is John, and I’ll be in a 77 Copper Bronze Metallic NYB.

You are gonna have tough competiton with @cbarge there then as he has a Turbine Bronze Newport Custom. (See picture or pictures above)
Oh I know.. I’ve seen his in person.. it’s a stunner for sure, but NO competition.. mine is “Under Construction” so to speak.. we’ll leave it at that.. lol
