The new ride!

What's with all the leaves in the yard? Is it fall down there?

It’s fall year round here. One thing I’ve really grown to hate is these trees here lol. Usually get the worst this time of year, and actual “Fall”.

We gave up on trying to clean em up. 5 hours later it’s exactly the same.

Why do you know all this **** so well? :realcrazy:
I am cheap. I ride around all day fixing this stuff in my head. After reading on the internet and sorting through 90% of the keyboard complainers. I figure how the system or part works, find the failure point.
On my wife's Jeep it was blown fuse so I replaced it, blew another, then in true truck driver fashion (Peter stop reading) I jumped it with a piece of #12 house wire and the compressor ran about a minute and was very hot. That put enough air in system that it worked like it should. Then checked the tank ( behind the rear seat, yes your infant is perfectly safe with a 220 psig tank of nitrogen at their feet)
Much like A/C system, suck it down to remove air and moisture. Refill with A/C grade purge nitrogen with low/no moisture.
My wife also has patience to allow a few days to sort the problem, instead of woosh of to the dealer or mechanic. By doing that she also saves the constant complaining about the job they did or didn't do.

In simple terms "I'm cheap"

I don't see a problem. This is my replacement chart...

I always carried a few 1/4-20 x 1-1/4 HHMS in my bag to make sure I got home. Circuit Breaker universal replacements. And I used them. F*** the wiring.

Baby’s first bath!! LOL

So cute, the water sets of the sensors in the door handles. Acts like I’m tickleing it when spraying it down. Found that kinda humorous... Ha!

couple observations. Is this truck plastic?? Everything feels so fragile to me compared to me old rigs. I know it’s crash safety stuff to explode off Incase of impact, but man....

The grill is a ***** to clean!! The whole front end really. Almost gotta crawl on the ground to clean the front air dam. Wheels are a ***** too!

Luckily no big surprise to find on our first time intimate together lol. Found a light scratch in the passenger door, and a small one on the drivers fender. Both should buff right out. Honestly their so light, I probably took delivery with them on it.

I may send it off to a professional place for a complete detail/paint correction/and ceramic coating in the future. She has a few imperfections in the factory paint. Need to price it out. Honestly really doesn’t need it, but it’s the new “baby”. Gotta spoil it.

Thank to the trees it will only stay like this for an hour tops. Not gonna bother drying it. Water spots are better than the yellow tinge from all the pollen lately.

AND that's an easy grille to clean.

A freshly washed truck and no hose in the pic?? For shame lol

She looks great, Zac!!

Got a freebie for the truck last night. A factory tonneau from another customer at the dealer. Has a small pin hole in it but hell, free is free! He was getting a fiberglass cover to replace this one.

May still search for a better one, but this factory cheap one will do for now. I’ll see if I can patch the small hole.

Hot damn, Zac! I would definitely keep that one! I've seen that the factory covers are one of the better ones. Put a little goo in that blemish if you need to and rock it for a while!

It’s a decent cover. The guy said he had it off of his truck for a while, rolled up in his garage. I wish the clamps had a little more tension on the rear. Has a little gap. Might be because of it being rolled up since new basically. It’s dated 10/2019

Know what you need to do.?
Black powder coat the big shining honker and turn it into the Zach Midnight Edition.

I like the midnight editions! Not big on the wheels though. Sabrina said the same thing.

What have you done to her besides tint and the Tonneau cover?

Put gas in it..... LOL I haven’t done anything yet. It does have 1200 miles now...

My Ram is a 2018 and I have 34,000 miles on it.

Several trips to Wisconsin and a couple of long runs like Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway.

Maybe another Blue Ridge Parkway run when this virus is gone. Probably in the Ram cause I can pullover anywhere and sleep in it. Lol
