Hi,
I'm looking for a Steering wheel for the restauration of my wifes 1966 Dodge Polara.
If someone of you has one to sale, please let me know.

Best regards from germany and stay healthy :)

I think he was asking for one to know which wheel you have.

Oh dear..... of course, the embarrassing german :).

"That's" what the former ownler installed.....
Now a set of original instruments is installed back again.
But the steering wheel is a no go!

I believe Classic Industries has repro two spoke wheels for a 66 C.

You will be hard pressed to find a mint steering wheel

the restoration process is very expensive to say the least but impressive results
You will need a core more than likely to send in

I know, but I have seen some nice steering wheels in the past on Ebay (at this time I was working on my 73 Duster and I hadn't bought the Polara yet)....

Even if you find a decent one with cracks, there is information on repairing the wheel to look nearly perfect.

Good luck in your quest:thumbsup:

Here is the steering wheel that I have. I think it's a 65/66 Polara wheel. There is a close picture of the part number. Perhaps someone here will verify that. It has no cracks or heavy scuffs. Very nice use as is condition, maybe paint it to be perfect.
I was going to use it on my 67 until I discovered the horn ring was slightly different and wouldn't work correctly.
I have NO idea about shipping to Germany, or what the cost would be. It will be an oversize package, sounds expensive to me. PM if interested.
will.
