Hello everyone,

I know Herb's is a popular resource for parts but I haven't used them yet. I've got about $1200 in a cart but I wanted to see if anyone has recommendations on what I may want to avoid before I pull the trigger. It seems that Herb's, to some extent, is a clearing house for several vendors.

Has anyone had any bad experiences?

Thanks

They did sell the business. They sold to AMS Obsolete parts in Georgia. I did have some problems with parts I ordered from them in the past, mainly a fuel tank, and an engine wire harness. Their catalogue at the time did not show the difference between Plymouth / Dodge, and Chrysler "C" bodies.

I have an engine wiring harness in my cart, I'll give them a call and/or take it out of my cart. Looking back at the description, it's too generic.

The harness I ordered was for a Plymouth / Dodge, it only had the one wire for the temperature gauge, not the two wires for a Chrysler. I brought it to their attention about six years ago, they probably have not changed it after sending them pictures of both harnesses.
