You have to get those kids interested in fender tags. As long as people insist on having their hoods up:BangHead: there were a few cars I would’ve liked to have seen the tags.

I know you have a thing about hoods being up, but there are interesting things in there to see in an engine bay. However, I have a similar thing about stuffed animals and models of the car on the air cleaner. Why-o-why do guys do that year after year? I guess it's a monkey-see thing.

When I saw that catalytic converter Superbird contraption, I wanted to scratch my eyes out.

But thank you John [live4theking] for all that hard work!

I'll try to remember this. I've got one kid that isn't the greatest photographer, but would probably be more than willing to oblige your request.

It took almost 3 hours to post all of those pictures.

I know and I do thank the efforts of you and your kids!:)

John -

Shear delight in seeing these photos! I don't think I could have seen even half of this show if I went with the bum knee. Your kids have captured this show better than Official Carlisle Events could have! I especially love the little diversion details that I never take pictures of, but always notice, like the license plate sculptures. And don't we all feel like this, wide-eyed and wonder at these marvelous machines? This picture says it all. Thank you, thank you thank you!

I’m guessing she’s checking out the Grinch.:p

The kids are getting to be good photographers. The quality goes up every year.

Thanks!

Yeah, how stooopid does that look? I can only hope he closes his hood on 'em.....

I remember when I went to my first "World of Wheels" rod & custom show in maybe 1969, even as an impressionable, wide-eyed teen I couldn't understand the "angel hair" that was everywhere on the cars. Exhaust tips, behind tires, and inexplicably, going into injector stacks or blowers.

So what ever happened to angel hai? Maybe that'll happen to models and stuffed animals. But I doubt it.

It's the replacement for this one. I ordered last October, still waiting for it to be built. Might see it by September. I've driven one (VIN0403) and it's simply amazing. Makes my car feel like a 1970 Chrysler...
