Manufacturerers do not want you to be able to access their proprietary repair software. Especially for only $49.95, that is why I would be skeptical.
 
I have heard of satisfied customers of the AlfaOBD. It's about the same price. The downside is that there is limited access to vehicles 2018 and up. This can be dealt with if you can get the PIN code from the dealer.

I doubt it's that easy or self explanatory either. I installed fog lights in my 08 Grand Cherokee and had to go to the dealer had have the code activated. I also installed a sensor and had the auto headlamp feature turned on.
