I’m a little surprised that no one brought up the new Roadkill episode. But then, I remember the disdain some had for Freiberger & shows like that. Yet they put it on the road & had some fun; car is pretty beat.

The earlier stuff is better than the newer, if you decide to watch it.

yup, the earlier roadkill was pretty cool while it was still on Youtube but then the Whole MotorTrend on Demand thing happened and they pulled most of the full episodes off Youtube....they still left my favorite one of my favorite episodes on there tho..

I just thought it was a boring episode, with a boring car in terrible shape that did nothing well.

More doors, no floors, and the most exciting thing they did was JB weld a freeze plug. I say all that as a fan, and a subscriber since day one. I think this was just one of those show ideas that seemed good until they started filming...and at that point they were committed. I'd almost guarantee they feel the same way about this episode.

I will say the museum part was kinda cool.

And it is still better than 99% of all the other crap there is to see:thumbsup:

Yep, would not want to drive a cool car unless it is absolutely 100% factory perfect, with a show quality paint job, every mechanical piece at 105% correct and finished properly, anything less is junk and not worthy of my time.
You need to go collect stamps, your completely missing the car hobby.

Sounds like a lot of the Corvette guys.

I watched the show. No heat in the dead of winter, smelly exhaust, lousy road manners, breakdowns. I'm not sure "fun" was part of it!

I'm not about shiny paint, or perfect show cars at all. I've literally been a Roadkill fan since day one when the episodes were free on youtube, then bought the MTOD subscription when that first came out. I am 100% on the same page as they are when it comes to messin with cars.

What I meant earlier is that even by Roadkill standards it was a poor episode. There have been a few clunker episodes...I'm still a fan. this just wasn't one of their best.

Honestly, it wasn’t their best episode, but far from their worse. Anyone catch the end where they said it has a 400 2bbl in it?
