I'm not a metal man but...

New shiny floors done, finally! First picture shows wrapping because of English wheel preparing.
Second after beads done. Last two pics is about home made stub frame:rolleyes:....I mean preparation for body "grill ". Laser is handy tool for finding centerline.

You do incredible work. What are you building the frame for?

Thanks again! The frame is for body rotisserie , we talked about "body grill" like heavy duty BBQ grill for car body! Frame needs some more parts but I do them when I get that "grill" from my friend. He did that for his-66 Thunderbird conv. At a moment there is-68 Firebird under construction on that grill but it will be ready soon.

Dutchman panel done! This part almost drives me crazy! I did three test panels and in forth piece I finally understood how to make it. Basically very simple task, first some English wheel stretching for window edge (rubber band on the upper wheel) and then just a little stretching whit shrinker/stretcher and that's it. Luckily trunk opening weatherstrip channel and window channel was useful . I tig welded all together, first I tried to do seams as tight as possible and then just melded parts together. It worked quite well.
It still needs some work but worse part is done!

That would be great! Your train system is quite good. Lately I had been going to Helsinki and Vaasa, in the past to Imatra.

By train, Helsinki - Turku is around 2 hours and Vaasa - Turku is something like 4,5 hours. Hope that this corona situation finally is getting better so people can meet!
If you are coming this summer, just let me know whit PM and maybe we can really meet!

There is a chance I may go in August but with the travel situation probably won't happen. Any other year I definitely would have gone in August.

You know the proverb ”There are guys who do what they can, and then there are guys who do anything they want”. You definitely belong to the latter category. Awesome job!

It's barbecue time, let's grill some Baron! Body "grill" is finally here and it's awesome! Antti , good friend of mine, made it for his beautiful -66 T-bird conv. Last Sunday I had friends helped me to get Baron in the "grill", happy to have friends like this.
It works like dream, it takes only two fingers to turn it over. It's like c body with power steering!
Now is Dutchman panel almost welded in place, before welding I painted inner surfaces. I made some ventilation holes in that panel. Trunk opening needed some "custom work " because trunk cover simply didn't fit in place, right side was just too tight. Body work with this is almost too easy!
