Is the front section suppose to look like this without the bumper guards? Or would the bottom section touch each other when the car originally come without the bumper guard? If I would like to buy a bumper guard would it fit on or need holes to be drilled? is this the whole part i need...

Bought the car in 2015 and sold it in 2019 to a guy here in the Netherlands. After i bought it I rebuild the front end and new shocks all around. New legendary front seat upholstery and top boot cover and new carpet. Car ran very well and even took it to spain and back from here (the Netherlands).
