Hi
I'm looking for a good used speedometer cable for my polara
it doesn't have cruise control so it's the style cable the has the thread on the speedometer side and the aluminum plug with the oring that inserts into the side of the transmission
anyone have anything that could help me out?
Thanks

From your Parts Book, find the P/N and Google it as "xxxxxxx rock auto". The cable should pop up.

I'll have to try and find the part number
I went on rock autos site already and tried to find it just searching and all that came up was the cable with the threaded couplers on both ends which is the wrong one for my car

I have found with my cars from RockAuto, multiple cables listed for my cars with most of them wrong.
I had to cross reference it from the p/n to make sure I got the correct ones.

We can't say this enough, as soon as you buy the car get a FACTORY service manual (FSM) and a FACTORY parts book for the year of the car.
These will save you time and money. If you can afford to get the car you can afford to get the books. You can be cheap and download them but nothing beats having the book in front of you as you are working. Heck I have multiple copies of the service book, one that stays in the garage one that stays in the house, and another one or two just because.
