Ive always heard people criticize the 64-66 Barracuda’s over the slopping rear glass. Referring to them as Fish bowl Cuda’s playing off the Barracuda name. Yet the 81-93 Camaro also has a large slopping rear glass that receives praise for its styling & sleekness often from the same people that dislike the Barracuda. I guess haters are gonna hate.

I can’t remember hearing much praise for those camaros but maybe it’s just because I keep my nose out of most magazines???

Its a Chevy....were all supposed to bow down to Chevys....
I'll take the Barracuda with a 273 and a 4spd please....

I always loved those year Cudas. ... wouldn't want to replace that glass but still love it.

Camaro? Nah. Didn't work for me in the 80's when they were new, doesn't work for me now.

Let's try tinting the mopar and un-tinting the 20 year newer GM, rear windows & see the difference.
I think it would be significant.

Back in 79, helped a buddy tow a 65 Barracuda with a 273 4 bbl and auto out of a field.

We spent months slapping bondo on it and performing all types of first timer 14 year old mistakes.

In the end, it really wasn't a bad runner.
235 HP (ish) moved the car along quite well. The looks either grow on you or they don't.
The back seat folds down, with the contour of the window, there was actually quite a bit of room.

Personally I'd take the Camaro over the Barracuda, never cared for that Barracuda.
In 1985 when my grandfather was looking to replace his Barracuda he looked at the Camaro, he didn't find it as utilitarian as the Barracuda and ended up with a Ram D50, and I the Barracuda.
