I love both cars, but I personally never would have the guts to go black. It will be a beauty when done.
BTW, you wouldn't happen to know where I could get a Torque Control Fan Drive, do you? Mine is missing with just a spacer between the fan and the pulley. No biggy as those fan clutches really didn't hold up and since I'm not dragging the car it runs well enough, it's just that I'm trying to get the old look of the engine.

He gets no credit in their development. In fact, no mention at all. Looked all over the net and found three people and one of those didnt get official credit. And I find nothing to even hint Julius Pringle was modeled after Gage.
Somebody find it!

That's the way companies like P&G work. Employees get zero credit for inventions because the company would have to share the wealth.

You usually have to sign a release to that effect saying they own the rights to anything you invent.

During his graduate work, he developed a laser technique. Coincidentally, Mount St. Helens erupted during that time, and his laser technique was used in analyzing ash from the eruption; it became the subject of his doctoral dissertation.

Upon completing his doctorate in chemistry, Gage joined the product development team for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. He was a member of the team that developed the Pringles potato chip. After working with Procter & Gamble for 10 years...

So Mt. St. Helens erupts in 1980, he later takes a job at P&G. Pringles introduced in 1967. See the problem here?
