Who says winter driving sucks?

That looks like a blast!
We used to take a $50 beater, get 4 studded snow tires and go down to the Mississippi river backwaters and sloughs and "ice race". Until the DNR told us to knock it off. We didn't know better, so we listened to the warden so he wouldn't tell our parents.

That looks awesome. I can't say that I'd like to live where it gets that cold, but a visit to do that would be fun.

It only sucks if you don't know how to drive in winter! Looks like fun!
Sure sucked here yesterday...

As my kids learned to drive, each one was taken to the high school parking lot or other open space and taught the art of countersteering, braking and acceleration on slippery surfaces and controlled slides. It was educational and fun! I still do it with the onset of winter. Refreshes certainly can't hurt.

Spring is around the corner!!!

I just talking about winter driving and how I used the S-10 four banger 5 speed work truck as my tool for learning all kinds of driving, but especially drifting in winter. Load some cores in the back and drift down the service road. It's paid off numerous times when things get hairy, and my natural reaction comes on automatically, and away I go. I'm so glad I was able to do that, it taught me a lot. Fun to get out of a spin casually holding the wheel, and a soda in my other hand, all while talking to my girlfriend.

Cheapest gas in my area is 2.39 a gallon for regular.

That looks like a whole lot of fun, seems like when I get that first nice snow fall I try to drift what ever I am driving. For most kids it's common practice when the snow falls in the rust belt.
