Does the 5 under the C on the Fender tag says that this is an automatic car?

That car has been sitting on a lot at a small garage about 15 minutes from me for a few months now. I've been wondering what was going on with it. That first picture is where it's been sitting. No for sale sign so I thought someone was just getting it going.

I think I see the purpose for the Kleenex box: shifter is missing the boot.

Does anyone know where the bidding ended? He wants 15 says Luke. What I have found is the bidding will set the market. He may want 15, but if the bid came no where near that, he's not going to get it by relisting it.

Just answered my own question. I looked at the original ad: $9,127.00

Does he really think he's going to receive an additional 6 grand in bidding using the same site a second time?

Not sure. This 1969 T&C was bid up to $7,050 the first time around, and close to $20k a week later.

Granted, the first auction was ended by the auctioneer six days early, so it was not fully informative.

Edit: @Snotty, our postings crossed. The Kleenex comment was funny!

Plus that he's only a 3 year eBay'r with a (1) buyer feedback, seller selling a high dollar item.
In the old days that would be a red flag.
