    GJS's 1967 Dodge Monaco 500: Beverly

Yea, see, thats the rough part. I don't really know how to explain it. Years of guitar, piano, drum playing has left me a rather dexterous fellow. I slipped the bolt in from the front top side of the engine, threaded portion up, and sort of blindly slid it around until it found the bolt hole...

Who needs tools when you have tunes?

Oh I've been there, couldn't take it for too long. Anyone who spends any time in my garage eventually asks "where my radio is?" I explain to them that I am constantly listening to music whether by choice or not and this is my refuge. All understand. It's nice to concentrate on what you're doing.

Every year or two I pull out my typewriter ... It's a little like trying to fret chords on a pedal steel guitar... I sure lost a lot of finger strength to these damned computer keyboards.

    Chuck Berry R.I.P

Many years ago, I recorded (in VHS and Beta) a session from ShowTime that Keith Richards and Chuck Berry performed together. It included interviews with both artists and a good bit of their practice sessions, in preparation for their performance togehter. Richards remarked that in most of...

    Chuck Berry R.I.P

Considering how many greats have said he was their inspiration then one would have to say he was a great. Maybe not the top of the list guitar player but a pretty accomplished one blessed with large hands as a bonus. Then there was his showmanship which Jagger would acknowledge. I recall a guy...

My best was "It's the most wonderful time to drink...
