Looking for good advice. I have something special.

...manifold and add a 600 cfm 4-bbl. Dual exhaust would help. Hughes engines can provide you a better cam/more torque & steeper ramps. Different pistons could bring the compression up to 9:1. What did you do to your C-body today....

I received a set of 5 leaf rear springs and the hardware kit from Espo. They will go on the 68 Fury II 4 door sedan. I will likely install a set of shock absorbers after doing some research on this forum. I would probably lean towards KYBs, but will keep an open mind about it.

Meet Regina FQ3, a 1970 Polara convertible who turns 51 today

Everyone who has replaced springs here has their supply guy. 20 plus years ago I chose ESPO because they used to do Spring & Fall Carlisle, plus they were close to home. After my first set I was hooked on their 1 inch over stock height spring. Honestly, I have no way of knowing what is 1 inch...

    Dodge 880 questions and performance

...I understand it, upgrading to the Borgeson steering gear (using a later-model Jeep gearbox?) can give the car a more modern steering feel and response. Which can also mean upgrading/replacing the "rag joint" and related items between the end of the steering column and the input side of the...

Were the springs on your car originally 7 leafs Tim? Others have ordered new leaf springs from ESPO in the past - have they had the same problem with the pad being too wide? Did you order springs with the stock height or did you specify 1" higher or .........................?

...out at even the slightest dip in the road. It feels like the axle is going to fall out. Yes, your springs are shot, and they don't even look stock. I count 5 leaves. Here's the bummer: ESPO is 4-6 weeks out from shipping ( which means 8-10) , I ;m probably one order in front or behind you. I

Leaf Spring Sag, 1970 Fury Convertible

Thank you, this is useful information. Something additional that I'll need to check before I choose between ESPO and Eaton. A few questions: 1. are the front bushings pressed in, or did you need to specify a request for that to be done? 2. did you buy shackles, or are you hoping to re-use...

Asking for assistance with Imperial ride height issue

...first off, I have a 66 Imperial Crown 4 door hardtop. Just replaced the original, EXTREMELY worn leaf springs with a new heavy duty set from Espo. It looks kinda nuts - very jacked up in the rear, which sure isn't right for this car. Now I know that I can adjust the front end up, but the...

B and C body leaf springs

This is what I will be attempting with some springs. I’m parting a 63 300 413 car with the 6 stack HD springs. I’m going to use a shorter main leaf from a 61 Plymouth 5 stack to see if I can combine the two to make a decent set of original HD springs for a 61 Plymouth. Im not doing so to save...

My new old Jet Age 300

We replaced the springs on our 68 300 vert in late 2018 with new ones from ESPO. When I looked a them the other day, I noticed they looked more like cretin90's right-side spring than the left side. I remember even when they were first installed, they were pretty much flat with almost no arch...

Smooooth Riding Now, New Springs and Shocks!

Wish I'd done this sooner, despite the expense. I bought from ESPO Springs n Things their leaf spring kit, with a pair of 7 leaf, heavy duty springs arched 2 inches over stock. I completed this upgrade with a pair of KYB Gas-a-Just shocks and have definitely smoothed out the ride and retained...
