Last time I was in Muskogee was when my father inlaw passed 10 years ago. He was an ummm... Let's say interesting guy. The guitar is part of some art project. I assume it's like the Buffalos in Buffalo, NY. Downtown looked pretty bad... My wife said it's really gone downhill since she lived...

    Almost A Driver

Haha! Ah yes, the Gay Denny's. Yeah, but that's 7th St. I was referring to the area where all the crosswalks are rainbow painted on 7th Ave. I only venture to Bizarre Guitar in that area and there are always "interesting" folks walking around.

I have two friends on Facebook who know guitars. One sold them for years and still has close to 80. The other has been playing all his life and is quite knowledgeable. The first: Michael Bybee. I've known him since Elementary School. The second: George Fenley. He was my Music Minister at...

    BRAKE CYLINDER INNER BORE SIZE

...it perfectly. So I presume you wrote charts for all of that, I'm self-taught and don't read so the old joke applies here ; How do you get a guitar player to turn down ? Peter Green, RIP -- 'Heavenly Band Member?"

probably gotta be a guitar player to fully appreciate next 9 minutes. I do NOT play guitar, but I was a shade-tree musician and can still understand music structure. Plus, theres a lotta history here .. makes we wanna figure out what so cool about a Les Paul axe from 1959 (or other years)

Guitar master, read a interview once we're they asked him if he was trained to play or self taught. He responded he was self taught, he didn't know what kind of sound he would have had if he had training.

    RIP- Eddie Van Halen

Another loss of a great musician. I saw Van Halen as an opening act for Black Sabbath in the summer of '78 just after the release of their debut album. They blew the audience away and Eddie's guitar playing was all the crowd was talking about on the way out.
