    Just An Idea.....

So I need so guidance please.. I need to pull the driver side window regulator and motor. The motor works, I can hear it, but the window doesn’t move. I’ve been directed to the threads that show rebuilding the gearbox on the motor, which I’m assuming is the problem in my case. If possible, I...

    Looking for feedback 1972 Monaco

These models almost never show up anymore and I find this one appears to be in much better than average condition. The price is not $3000 too high - in the condition of this car, it is being sold at a price below market IMO. You many not like these models, but a lot of us really like them...

    GJS's 1967 Dodge Monaco 500: Beverly

My trunk is weak in the same areas. The issues with my window channel extend a good 1/4" beyond the lip of the trim into the dutchman's panel ... also out toward the sail panel on the driver side. It's pretty crappy but I'll pick away at it. I remember seeing a thread on that Monaco. Not...

Meet Buttercup, a 1972 New Yorker Brougham 2-door Hardtop

More updates on the top restoration. 1. the metal work on the rust repair is finished, thanks to @71Polara383. It seems that the trim doesn't fit the corner as tightly as it should on the driver's side as it does the passenger's side. The pictures I had from before the top came off show that...

    Impster - the big&white

The current air cleaner is a whole lot better than the previous even before rust removal and repainting it. The front side window is again operating correctly after repositioning the door panel.:) The tape is to be trimmed before the first time out on the roads this year.

    WTF?? How did this happen??

Call one of the established restoration/hot rod shops and ask who does theirs, they usually farm out the glass. Joey's only uses champion auto glass up here. A smaller, incredibly clean shop ran by a father, 40 years experience, and his son, probably ten fifteen years experience now, great guys...

Power Window motor clutch assembly slipping inside the drivegear

Window glass stays in the door. Once the fasteners that hold the regulator are loose, you then slide it out of the tracks and fish it out of the hole at the bottom of the door. It helps to have an assistant hold the glass for you.

    Weatherstrip removal

Need some help on proper method on removing the leading edge chrome & rubber strip that’s attached to the rear door glass. It’s the piece that, when front and rear window are fully raised, forms a seal between the windows. I’m unsure what it’s called, but it appears it may just be attached with...
