Personally I think its a nice touch having that trim on there. Question though, Your center console goes all the way back and blends with the rear seat. Is that just a Monaco thing? I know that my Polara doesn't do that.

Usually the code "99" with PCV system was a California car. It was a mandatory option in CA. only and cost $5.15. Not sure if this could be ordered on a non-CA. car but who would want it. My '65 383 Monaco has this same option code and yes it has the PCV system and was bought new in Cali.
