If it was a newer MP kit I would suspect the orange ecu. New ones are terrible.

Points or electronic ign? Only when hot sounds like a bad pick up or ecu from what you posted especially if it starts right up after it cools down.

Definately Accell, all with the same issue.

I do know from a friend that raced GM with HEI he went through 5 Accell 4 pin modules in one season. All failed dwell at high RPM on the tester.

Not yet waiting to get a failed one. They seem to hold up well.

They took out the start circuit that was on the 5th pin. You can use a 5 pin in a 4 pin but not the other way around.

Just saw the HEI Part. I will be making mounting plates for the slant dist like the 8 cyl one out there soon.
