    WANTED 3 Speed Wiper Mtr

David, I spoke with a guy at Carlisle who specializes in rebuilding wipers....the Booster Dewey of wipers. I think this was him: OE WIPER MOTOR RESTORATION - 67-74 3-SPEED :Bill Meerholz Enterprises - NOS Mopar There are several motors on eBay, but do they work? And then there's this: NOS...

I'll suggest Topher McGinnis, a.k.a. "headlight motor man". He rebuilds Mopar wiper motors, and restores them to look correct and factory fresh. He also does hidden headlight motors, power window motors and electrical switches. His nick name refers to his skill on 66-67 Charger headlight motors...

    Variable wiper with park

For only a couple years, mother mopar used this park device, at least I think this is it, from service manual. Mine is MIA. IF correct, they are expensive and my motor fries the fuses, so has issues and will need rebuild. My question is this. Has anyone tried to replace this 66-68 system...

Looks to me that instructions come with that kit, but I'm no help because I've never even used my wipers. :poke:

Windshield wiper plastic piece broken for 1978 Chrysler New Yorker

Wiper motor pivot bushing. The help products used make them but find a OEM mopar one and grease where the ball linkage goes into! Ocassionally you can find them in the Mopar rebuild kits. Get a part number of a IPB. Tommy at parts hound might have one.

Found that the wiper motor on my '66 Fury VIP has failed; tested the system out to see if it worked and got the arms to move a little then magic smoke came out of the motor. While disassembling everything I found the pop metal "cam"(?) was broken. *first and second pictures respectively* My...

    Buttons, Switches & Bezels

Brent Ball and family do rebuild switches and complete dashes. They do excelkent work and highly recommend them. 2 Other options: Find NOS switches. Keep in mind the headlight and wiper switches are 1 year only based on part number. Typically the togle switches tend to hold up well except the...

    1973 Plymouth Fury

So I replaced the distributor cap and reset the timing back to stock. The car drove wonderfully and was doing well. Digging into the dash again, I found that I need a wiper switch after doing some diagnosis. Also, that the radio is bad and needs work. I will be replacing the speakers while I’m...

Those Holley 2 barrel carbs were junk from new. If I was going to put any effort into rebuilding a carb and fuel economy was a concern, I'd be doing a Thermoquad and changing the intake manifold accordingly. Driven with fuel economy in mind, they will always do better than a 2 barrel and really...

1967 Crown Coupe purchased at estate sale

A quick update. I’ve retired and unretired (to help a friend start a new business) in the past half year. I’ve been able to spend a few hours a week on the Imperial, mostly catching up on 40+ years of deferred maintenance. I’ve put about 300 miles on the car, and used it as a daily driver...

    Not sure about Vansauto

I'm fortunate that I had the means to cut the tank up. Some people would have been up the creek, or if they had to have their mechanic do this they would have been charged for that too. More pics.... which remind me the soldered joint where the vents exited leaked too (on the tank that replaced...

    Not sure about Vansauto

To me, doesn't take much sleuthing around to see that anybody who sells a fuel tank using the Spectra part numbers is only re-selling the Spectra parts. Which means the Spectra Premium website is a good source of information from "the seller" of the tanks. Shopping for the best price and...

    Instrument panel lights

Thanks! But my problem is that I think that the switch is VERY hard to remove. Im not sure, but seems like the instrument panel must be removed and thats a lot of work! i managed to remove the cable to the light in the drivers ash tray. If I put 12 volts there the lights gome in on the IP and...

Have @Devinism rebuild the switch for you. That's probably the most practical and least expensive. What happens is the rheostat and the wiper that contacts the rheostat get dirty and worn over the years. Sometimes you can clean them up with contact cleaner, but often it's just easier to get...
