What are you working on today??

It's a little bigger than a C body. My local railroad bought four "new" locomotives and I'm helping the guy who is repainting them.

    Dash pad Cracks

Is there someone who “redoes” these dash pads?? Honestly, it’s in good shape for 58 years old. I’m just gonna keep it hydrated and maybe glue those cracks to try and “seal” them.

    Dash pad Cracks

I believe the issue is not only the upper layer of "finish vinyl", but also the foam under it dries out and shrinks, too. At this point in time, about the only thing you can do is get one of the carpet "dash protectors" and lay on top of the existing pad. I'm not sure where to get one, though...

Finally... Taking my 66 on Route 66!

We flew into Saint Louis on Thursday and the New Yorker was waiting for us. After visiting with friends for two days, we hit the road yesterday (Sunday). The Chrysler drove like a dream and glided from Saint Louis to Joplin. Great sites and fun times so far. High point was Uranus Mo, but...

NOT MINE Yet another Fuselage Polara.

Looks like a pretty decent car. Ditch the wheel covers and white walls for something tasteful. Big stroker RB build. Would be a pretty sweet ride.
