    Greetings from across the pond, 66 polara convertible with a 742 rear end, got the pinion nut and washer off, tried a lot of brute force with a 2 leg puller but the pinion refuses to budge... any ideas?

    Disc brake conversions, advice needed

    Hi All, rebuilt the full brake system on my 66 383 polara, whilst working as good as expected i think a disc set up at least on the front would be good.....aftermarket kits...seems to be a few out there, also using spindles off a disc car could be an option then buy new everything to go with...

    alternator swap, any conversions out there 66 polara 383

    Hi got a 66 with a 383, engine bay wiring is tatty to say the least, not happy with the reman alternator and solid state regulator i've fitted so was going to fit an 01 camaro alternator as i'm breaking one over here in england, and rewire her.     66 polara, put light on, engine temp rises!

    yup she's throwing up a new one....drives lovely, temps all normal, put headlights on and temp guage (factory one) rises...lights off, down she goes....any ideas folks?

    foam gaskets in drum backing plate

    Hi Guys, greetings for sunny england! just rebuilding my 66 polara braking and steering systems....thought i had all the parts but there appears to be a foam gasket inside the brake backplate centre hole.....does anyone stock them? thanks for the assist cheers ian
