Was able to get my cracked plate tig welded by a local car show friend. Thanks everyone. Good to go now.

Just an update was able to locate a hub from a 64 fury from a member here that works fine and has center lip on it . not sure what other hub with no lip is all about, but found out tapered axle hubs from different models all work .

Yes ,you are right , i have new inner and outer seals and bearings to go in . the backing plate was cracked due to someone not pressing bearing all the way in and putting backing plate on, years ago. Always seem to find the good ones lol Thanks

the factory plate was 12", but I only need the plate to cut the center out of and keep seal . Not sure if 11" would make a difference. I think as long as it was the full circle center backing plate with out self adjust brakes it would be good. Thanks

Hello , looking for tapered axle hub or drum with hub. Don’t care about drum looking for hub. Must be original style hub with raised center ring. First picture on left is the correct one. One on right is not correct , just need one. Thanks.

yes mobil u are right 12-2 -1/2 shoes. The Carlson info was meant to let everyone know That Carlson was available to help with info and explain how to get info with dimensions. Don’t think a pin was made that only had one application. If you can’t find exact oem you must improvise . Carlson...

sent a message to Carlson brake parts about brake pins. They responded quickly and where able to supply dimensions on pins. May be helpful to match up stuff.

Thanks for the info fellas. Carlson seems to have a tech number just need to find the pins. And maybe they can give measurements to use for a close pin. I have longer pin , might be able to modify to work.
