66 Fury - remove cowl grill

Disregard. Got it off by removing the aft bolts from the hood hinge-to-hood joint and loosening the fwd ones. That let the aft end of the hood rise up enough to get the cowl grill out. Now to vacuum decades worth of leaves and bugs out and lube the wiper mechanism while I'm there!

66 Fury - remove cowl grill

Trying to remove the cowl grill on my 66 Fury wagon. I've removed the wiper arms, the lower windshield trim, and all the screws holding the cowl grill on. It is loose, but I haven't been able to fanagle it out. I'm not able to get it off because it won't clear where the aft corners of the hood...

'66 Fury Reverse Lights only come on in Neutral

Got the switch adjusted so they only come in Reverse now. Looked in the FSM for the adjustment procedure but couldn't find it. The closest I found was a part in the transmission section about removing the steering column. But, getting it adjusted wasn't hard. Loosened the three bolts that hold...

'66 Fury Reverse Lights only come on in Neutral

Relatively new-to-me '66 Fury III Wagon, 383 2bbl, 727. Problem is reverse lights come on in Neutral, not Reverse. They come on only in Neutral (they are off in all other gear positions). The neutral safety switch seems to work as I can start the car only in Park or Neutral (it will not start...

Radiator Hoses for 1966 Fury, 383, factory AC, 26" radiator

Looking for part numbers for molded upper and lower radiator hoses for a 1966 Fury with 383, 727, factory AC, 26" wide radiator. Local parts stores are run by young kids who don't know how to look things up in the books. Not interested in the universal fit/corrugated hoses (that's what's on...

1966 Fury III Wagon Fender Tag & Broadcast Sheet Decode

I found the broadcast sheet last night! I was very excited to find it. Was taped to the fwd face (outside) of the glovebox. It was quite brittle and is partially swiss-cheesed, by mice, I'm guessing. With great care I aligned the individual pieces and taped them together. I wanted to laminate it...

1966 Fury III Wagon Fender Tag & Broadcast Sheet Decode

413, thank you. Which code denotes the roof rack? Is there a code for the optional towing package, or would that not show up on the tag? I.e. how do I know if I have the tow package vs just the sway bar, larger brakes, and 26" radiator? There is a hitch, but I don't know if it is factory...

1966 Fury III Wagon Fender Tag & Broadcast Sheet Decode

Looking for help to decode the fender tag on my 66 Fury III wagon. It appears all original, with 93,xxx miles (don't think it has rolled over based on condition), 383 2 bbl, 727, 3.23 (open), factory PS, PB, AC, 2 bench seats, electric rear window. I think it has the optional towing package...

    Welcome, pinkiedog64

Hello all! Stephan here, in north Texas. Long time 60s Mopar fan. Have had a few Sweptlines, a '61 Lancer wagon, a '69 A108 camper van, and my tow rig is a '93 W250. I am in the process of buying a '66 Fury III wagon. It's a factory AC, power brake, power steering car and very original. 2...
