no its definitly a new yorker, it was imported into new zealand in the early 80s and i think its had a prang front and rear and been fixed with newport parts, maybe thats all they could get here back then

67 new yorker with 440 in it, put a new Tuff stuff mini starter in it bout a month or so ago and has worked mint since, i havent driven much at all lately as its getting paneled and painted, the battery went flat and i had it fully charged , the car hasnt been started in a couple of weeks...

yeah i took off the little extension on the wire posts as it wouldnt even fit with it on, the service manual says it is 6 gauge which looks about right, can i just use normal 6 gauge power cable?
