    1967 Fury III 318 -> 440 questions

    Thanks for the suggestion! I read a little, and the new Hemi's sound cool! I do think I'm stuck in the late 60's and 70's though. The HP improvement seems minimal for the fairly major departure from the old LA/R/RB engines... it feels like I'd be ripping her heart out. And then there's the...

    1967 Fury III 318 -> 440 questions

    Budget... $4k'ish, if I'm stroking it. I'm not a speed freak. I'm into building it, the sound, along with enough power to have a good drive. I think 400 cubic inches (318 stroked) would be just fine, and (brace yourselves) I probably would run the original exhaust manifolds... and if I can find...

    WANTED BORROW a set of 1967 Plymouth Fury Sport/III/VIP Inner Tail Lights to create mold

    Found/purchased a set of inner tail lights in frames. One side complete, one side cracked. Still searching. I have the reverse lenses now, just need the innermost. My driver's side inner sample is cracked. These came with chrome in place.

    WANTED BORROW a set of 1967 Plymouth Fury Sport/III/VIP Inner Tail Lights to create mold

    I reached out to Zymurgy. He has no plans to cast these and has no issue with me giving it a run. I've acquired my vacuum vessel. Now working on my pressure vessel.

    WANTED BORROW a set of 1967 Plymouth Fury Sport/III/VIP Inner Tail Lights to create mold

    Just read the thread and reached out to him. AWESOME! Yep, that's what I plan to do as well, if he has no plans to do the Fury tail lights. - G

    WANTED BORROW a set of 1967 Plymouth Fury Sport/III/VIP Inner Tail Lights to create mold

    I'd like to borrow (or purchase) a set of 1967 Fury inner tail light lenses, in good condition, preferrably NOS, of course, to create a mold set. My intention is to cast these. It seems they are basically impossible to find, and mine are cracked and glued (won't work for a mold). The mold...

    1967 Fury III 318 -> 440 questions

    Well, found a 1967 383 and attached 727 for a good price. The gentleman mentions that it has 906 heads (he pulled a valve cover), which he believes are from a 440. Not sure the heads on a 383 and 440 are different, are they? Engine came out of a Fury and has the exhaust manifolds. 2 bbl...

    1967 Fury III 318 -> 440 questions

    Hi all! I've got a bad 318 in my '67 Fury III. I'm thinking about dropping in a 440. A few questions, and I'm open to "don't forget" and "you'll need to" comments! The 440 I'm looking at is a 1977/78 year, and comes with a 727 attached to it. - Is the bell housing interchangeable on the 727...

    Zerks?

    So, I placed my fragile body under the '67 New Yorker's big block yesterday, trusting my harborfright jack stands, and did an oil change. The oil that was in there was from... uh... maybe like early 2000's? I figured that's probably not something I wanted to run for too long. I noticed...

    The interior "wood"

    Looks like the "wood" is contact paper... mine's starting to curl at the edges. Not sure I'll actually do anything about it, but are there pre-cut reproductions available? Anyone ever replaced this stuff?

    Ummm... No. Not quality pieces. Definitely a foreign weld and metallurgy test... going to get my other ones as these freak me out. Thanks a TON for the help! BTW, good eye... that little bit of red is my '67 Charger... -M
