Thanks for the feedback...I need to ponder whether I want to explore this further. The 66 TC dash is available and I thought the radiused speedo and humped dash pad looks nicer than what's in the 68 Polara. Anyone other than me think so as well?
Anyone know if a 1966 Town and Country dash will bolt in a 1968 Polara? I'm suspecting it might given the windshield on these 2 models will interchange.
Any advice on how best to make this upgrade to tilt? I found a used 68' New Yorker tilt column for sale. Will this fit? The seller claims turn signal switch is toast. Anyone have a good working column for sale? Thanks in advance.

- length to center line of cap: 7.4375"...the closest I found matches all above dimensions except the length is longer at 8.03".

Does anyone have a decent pair of RH and LH lower control arms for sale? We removed those on my wagon to add the Firm Feel stiffener plates and poly bushings and found metal to metal wear on the big end thru holes on both so the holes are now partially oval. I need to start with something...
I have a wagon and am looking for either a new cable or a good used cable (no fraying). The cable I need goes from the pedal to the center pull. I assume the wagon and the sedan cable are the same but do not know for sure. Dorman offers a part but there is no stock. Anyone have a solution...
No surprise...Napa tends to have better product and less Chinese junk. Years ago I sold them Ford OEM EGR valves that were repackaged in Napa boxes with the Ford logo removed. What the consumer got was OEM quality!!
