Traded my '65 Valiant for a '66 Windsor

Funny you say that. I have a '70 Dart 340 I bought when I was 16. It's a beautiful car, I fully restored it. But it doesn't get driven as much as it should either.

I really don't know, I haven't had any time to dig into it.

Traded my '65 Valiant for a '66 Windsor

Haha yes, when there's music playing, it sounds great! When it's just someone talking, it's pretty psychadelic with the echo. The owners manual says it's supposed to sound like you're sitting in a concert hall, as the rear speaker and reverberator delay the sound by a millisecond.

Traded my '65 Valiant for a '66 Windsor

No fender tag, the car has been repainted, looks like it got lost in the process. However, VIN reads CL23J69xxxxxx, J being the 440. Pretty cool! Yes it's very comfortable. I have a '67 Newport 383 4 bbl with power bench seat, power antenna, power trunk, front & rear speaker, and reverberator...

Traded my '65 Valiant for a '66 Windsor

I traded my '65 Valiant yesterday for a '66 Chrysler Windsor (Canadian car) Ordered with a 440, 727, 3.23 rear, tilt/telescopic steering column, rear defrost, and tinted glass. Currently has Wilwood front disc brakes as well. I liked the little Valiant, it started out as a 170 slant 6, 3 on...

    Let's see your Newports

I have the Newport Custom trim for mine (the lower trim on yours) but I haven't put it back on yet, I find it takes away from the beautiful body lines these cars have. But I'm still in the air when I see it on other cars.

    Let's see your Newports

Let's see your Newports, no matter the year. Here's mine, it's a '67 Newport Custom. Mostly original paint and original interior, ordered white with...

    My '67 Newport and '68 Monaco 500

Just sharing a couple pictures, my '67 Newport Custom parked next to a '68 Monaco 500 I just sold. Both interesting cars, the Monaco was a 383 2 bbl, 2.76 rear gears, originally had front power disc brakes (now drum). Power windows, buckets with buddy seat, column shift, passenger side...

Another one saved.. '68 Monaco 500

Yeah, the duct tape seat repair definitely makes them worse, lol. Floors and frame rails are in great shape. Only spot of rust on the burgundy one is a quarter sized hole in drivers fender. Easy fix.

Another one saved.. '68 Monaco 500

    It doesn't, they're front drums.

Another one saved.. '68 Monaco 500

A guy came and bought some parts from me, and mentioned he was buying a pair of '68 Monaco's to take parts from. He offered to leave me the carcasses for free, as he didn't want to crush them. After some discussion, we both agreed the burgundy car was too good to part out, so I gave him...

1968 Polara wagon - front discs?

Ok, I used a set of discs from a '72 New Yorker. They're all mounted, good to go. Do I need to use the proportioning valve from the '72? Or the one from the '68? It was drum/drum.

'68 Polara wagon tailgate glass problem

Got it sorted out. Pulled the tail lights to get access to the wiring, had power at the motor but still wouldn't move. Found out the limit switch was bad on the gate latch. Bypassed it, window would go up and down fine on it's own but once in the upper channel would only go up half way. Loosened...

'68 Polara wagon tailgate glass problem

On this '68 Polara I've acquired, the tailgate glass is stuck down. I'd love to get it go wind up and down so every time it rains it doesn't just flood the back of the car. The switch up front has power. Pushing it down makes the motor click, pushing it up does nothing. The glass doesn't...

    Hello '68 Polara wagon!

Much less of a beak than it's cousin, the Dart, but yes.

    Hello '68 Polara wagon!

Well I did a straight trade for my '74 Scamp for this '68 Polara wagon. Whatcha think?

1968 Polara wagon - front discs?

Don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with drums. I've got 15 other Mopars all pre '74, drums are normal around here. My wife however will also be driving it to haul the dog around and load it up with gardening supplies, so I'll be doing a disc swap.
