70 vs. 71 Fury 2 door quarter panels

Well I found a NOS 70 formal roof quarter panel. They want $2200. I'm not sure there's a formal roof 70-71 Fury on the planet that warrants a $2200 quarter panel. At most, this should be $1000-1200. What's a sport roof quarter go for, $5000? Sadly, I'll consider getting it because I haven't...

70 vs. 71 Fury 2 door quarter panels

Thanks. Yeah, I think I'm going to keep holding out for a formal quarter. I told the person I'd let them know tomorrow. It's just a way easier process if I have the correct one.

70 vs. 71 Fury 2 door quarter panels

Thanks. Appreciate the help. I also have decision to make whether to keep waiting for a formal roof quarter, or just deal with the extra welding and finally pull the trigger. I haven't been as diligent as I should have been the last couple years due to other projects, but it's been a long time.

70 vs. 71 Fury 2 door quarter panels

OK, I've asked about 69 vs. 70, but wanted to confirm this one: quarter panels on the 70 and 71 are pretty much identical, no? I've found a 71 sport roof quarter for my 70. While not ideal as I just wanted to remove at the seams, I think it won't require too much cutting. Mainly, I want to...

1970 Sport Fury Trunk Lock Emblem

I'm definitely interested in one if you remember where you got it.

Mopar Connection bought a 70 Fury Rag.

Has ACC made a carpet that fits a 70 non-convertible worth a damn yet? My carpet is atrocious. Doesn't fit the hump even remotely.

1970 Plymouth Sport Fury Fender Tag

Bucket seat console car. That's cool. I certainly wouldn't pay $5K for it. Biggest issue with these cars is, it's getting harder and harder to find donor cars to help with rotted sheet metal. I'm still looking for a good driver's side quarter for my car and it's been, oh, 2 years or so. I...

Finally my own '70 Sport Fury GT

Based on your pics, despite it being a pain, it seems like that carpet fits pretty decently. I think I got mine from ACC about 4 years ago now, and that thing is so ill fitting, it still upsets me every time I go in the car. There's no way mine was molded from an original carpet or the actual...

****VOTE**** Is there interest in Legendary making '70-'71 Sport Fury seat covers?

I had seat covers made per the original covers for my 70 Sport Fury w/ bench seat and all vinyl covers. The pleats on the seat inserts, if done correctly, should be sewn individually, with individual strips of foam, as they over/underlap one another at top and bottom. I was quoted $3500 for my...

    '70 Parts Swap

If you're talking about a dashpad, then I'd just pull the existing one in the car and send it to Bob. The one he did on my 70 looks great. ABC Moparts

    windshield sunscreen

Well I just spoke with Covercraft. For the low, low price of $34.95, I was able to order a KIT in which will allow me to measure my windshield properly. From here, I send the kit back to them, and then they charge me full price for a sunscreen. While I can't say I was psyched to pay $34.95...

    windshield sunscreen

Has anyone found a sunscreen to protect the dash/seats that actually fits our cars? Not sure why Covercraft can't make one, but they don't.

    Dash covers?

Also of note, if you're removing your dash pad with the windshield in, I highly recommend getting a flex socket extender for your ratchet or battery impact. Makes it SO much easier to get to those bolts up there....

    Dash covers?

Even if he had one in stock, you still need to send your core to Bob in exchange. At least this way, you're getting your exact dash restored. I can vouch for his work. The dash pads are A+ with regards to fit, finish, and looking almost exactly like the original. Give him a call to check on...

69-70 Sport Fury quarter panel difference

Thanks for the side by side pics. Yeah, that would be more hassle than it's worth. Problem is, I've been holding out for 2 years now and the delamination of filler that's occurred is starting to rust badly underneath, so I need to do something sooner than later. Hopefully one will show up...

69-70 Sport Fury quarter panel difference

So aside from the side marker and the tail light, are quarter panels for the 69 and 70 Sport Fury the same (body lines, wheel opening, door opening)? This is assuming they have the same type of rear window.

Honestly, I just did my best with them. I think they're much better than they were originally, but they're still not perfect.
